BAGUIO CITY — In a powerful show of unity and civic responsibility, the 2600 Skateboarding Community, together with the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Federation of Baguio, kicked off the 2025 Clean-Up Drive, reaffirming their commitment to environmental care and youth leadership.
Held across selected urban spots and recreational areas, the clean-up drive rallied dozens of young volunteers, skaters, and community members to help restore and beautify shared public spaces.
Special recognition was given to Iboy Ajero Abad and Paul Dean Mark, notable members of the local skateboarding scene, for their unwavering leadership and grassroots advocacy. Their involvement continues to inspire many young individuals to engage in productive and meaningful action beyond the sport.
“This clean-up is part of our mission to show that the skateboarding community isn’t just about tricks and ramps—we’re here for the city too,” said a 2600 Skateboarding representative.
The initiative reflects a growing movement within Baguio\'s youth sectors: one that blends passion, action, and purpose.
As the 2025 Clean-Up Drive concludes, organizers promise more community-driven efforts in the coming months, paving the way for a cleaner, greener, and more united Baguio.
