📰 Refurbished Bayan Park Set to Reopen with New Skatepark and Campsite

BAGUIO CITY — Excitement is building as the newly refurbished Bayan Park prepares to welcome the public once again, now boasting two exciting additions: a skatepark and a campsite.

The inauguration of the revamped park is officially scheduled for May 8, 2025, marking a major milestone in the city’s efforts to provide more inclusive and youth-friendly recreational spaces.

The new skatepark is designed to support the growing local action sports community, giving skateboarders, BMX riders, and inline skaters a dedicated space to practice and showcase their skills. Meanwhile, the campsite offers an inviting setting for outdoor experiences, encouraging families and youth groups to reconnect with nature right in the heart of the city.

“These new features are a reflection of our commitment to promote healthy lifestyles, community interaction, and active youth engagement,” said a representative from the local government.

Bayan Park’s facelift is part of a broader initiative to modernize public spaces across Baguio City, making them more accessible, functional, and engaging for residents and visitors alike.
